Aidan's Chariot of Fire!

Ok, so we did it. We are officially members of the "Soccer Mom" Club. Let me start out by saying that I'm not a fan of car buying... in fact... I loathe it to the core of my existence. So much so, that yesterday, I'm embarrassed to say, I broke down in tears at the dealership on the principle that the price was not what they advertised, even though it was still "Such a great deal!!" Call it "being there for two hours with a thirteen month old," or "pregnancy hormones," or "just plain exhaustion," but we walked out, Andy carrying the baby and me gathering our things in a mess of tears.

Yes, I felt awful about it, but today, Andy saved the day. He returned to the dealership (without me :)) to explain why I was so upset; why my "customer is always right" mentality that I've carried with me since the first day I became a salesperson was stomped on and swept away. Well... that's a bit harsh, but let's just say I didn't feel like dealing with the sales guys yesterday, even though, they were so great. Andy actually went back and got MORE money off than we'd even thought we could! He's my hero. I love a great deal. It makes me giddy with excitement. And he knew, that having this minivan, while not a necessity in our lives, is going to make life so much easier for me while he is away and I tote two babies around. He even stopped to get a Happy Valentines Day balloon and a big red bow to surprise me. It's "Inferno Red" and is much shinier and sparklier (is that a word??) than it shows in pictures. It has AMAZING features in it, including power everything and remote start, TV, DVD (2 screens!) swiveling second seats, etc. etc. etc. Yes, I can go on, but I won't... I already see that I've blabbered away enough! Let me know when you want to visit! We have lots of room in our vehicle for you! :)

Going out to see my new "Chariot" - balloons and all!

It's so shiny!

Power rear lift gate, gotta love it.

Swiveling seats to load the little ones in car seats easier!
The car matches the balloons and ribbon - how cute :)

Pulling her into the garage!
